Teide walking short break is a rich hiking experience that will show you three different areas of Tenerife. The Trip starts in Vilaflor, a small village surrounded by pine forests with a country environment. Going up the hill to the “Caldera” of the Volcano Teide, a giant crater with a completely different look from the rest of the island with its rocky semi-desert landscape 2000 meters above the sea level dominated by the peak of the volcano. Leaving the crater behind, Santiago del Teide will welcome you in its melancholic whitewashed houses. Here, you will be given the opportunity to choose to walk among volcanoes cones or going down the valley to the lively holiday resort towns facing the sunset in the ocean.

PLEASE NOTE: The distances on this itinerary are offered purely as a guide. On some days you may have a choice of routes and for this reason the daily and overall distances are variable.
